Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Hello friends!! How are yas? What are you up to today? I am okay. In pain though. Have a lot of stuff on my mind. Still trying desperately to get in with a legitimate pain clinic to get started on more pain pills. Have two possibilities in the works right now.
Guess what? I have an appointment set up for Dillon for October 1st with an Atlanta child psychiatrist. We are going to do it via telemedicine in the neighboring town!! Ian't that cool as hell? I think so!!
Dillon had OT yesterday. It was horrible. He had several little meltdowns during because he was learning the perimeters and being told no, you can't go here and no you can't bother that. He had a danged nosebleed during all of this. AND, then, when we got ready to leave, he had a major meltdown. Hitting his head, bucking, kicking, etc. I was exhausted mentally and physically by the time we got home. He is so strong that when he pitches those fits, he is very hard to handle.
I heard of a new medicine yesterday that they use for autism sometimes. Tenex is the name of it. It is primarily for blood pressure I think, but has been used to treat ADD/ADHD, which I believe Dillon has. Anyways, they say it really opens up the world for an autistic child and brings them kinda outta their shell. I have my fingers crossed for this. Thanks you guys for listening. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!
Love & Hugs,
Chelle

I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
Chelle, you are amazing. I don't know how you do it but you do. Dillon is lucky to have you and vice versa. Hope you have a great day.
I am working and trying to will the rest of this week away. I am just so over it.
Dish.........I hate to medicate Dillon, but if it will make him more condusive (sp?) to learning, then I may go ahead and have them put him on a tiny dose of Risperdal. We'll see. I will let you know how that new med works out with Dillon when and if he starts on it. I am going to recommend it to the pdoc. Hugs.
