I don't think so. The problem is that we've been on the meds long enough to up the dose to where we are. Giving someone, bp or not, a dose that we take regularly could seriously harm them though.

I have known people that SWORE, they were just SO SURE, that all psych meds get people incredibly high.

Now, if you find someone that actually gets high off Prozac or Lamictal or something like that, I would like to meet them, and probably so would some medical research people, LOL.

I tire of trying to explain to people that these pills are not a score! If you tried to sell someone these pills on the street and claimed it would get them high you would get beat up if they ever found you again! LOL.

Isn't clorazepam a benzo? Benzos like lorazepam and stuff ARE actually able to get people high, both ordinary, and those with psych dx under the right conditions. That is one exception to be sure, and that's why some docs won't hardly give out Valium or Ativan anymore, even if the patient has severe anxiety. Personally, I think they're jerks for that. They come up with the drugs, push 'em on us for years, then find out that some people really lose it on 'em, and then they won't give them to anyone hardly, no matter how bad their condition is.

Damn all or nothing attitude that considers the statistics instead of the patient.

I'm running into that problem with my pain medication. So because some jerk in Iowa got addicted- I'm not allowed to be out of pain? How's that fair?

I have clorazpam and in the passed had ativan
but was 14 docter didnt expaln there adickive..so i buildt a big tallorance fast and then he took any way for 5 and maybe a half yrs(so really i only had them for 6months at the start of my bad anxity then probbly took 4mgs at one time maybe more)
5yr later..Now lol couple months back when i was pretty much just as bad as i was befor pill anxity wise he gave me clorazpam. I promised i would only take when i really need to ..NOW hes telling me to take them cuz i wont when i need to then ask him Wtf is wrong with me LOL wow poor docter never looked at it that way till now
