Anyone who says all cats act the same has never Owned them! lol
Dogs in my past have been So in tune with my mood and emotions, while my cats just want what They want Right NOW!!! lol
But that was nice too. :) My beloved Easter (cat) was really a dog in cat's clothing, because she always knew my mood and would never "act" like a cat if I needed her to Be a dog right then, lol
She was a Vicious Killer when strangers came around, too; I used to imagine her, a tiny little thing, with a spiked collar, you know...:)
She loved to ride on the dashboard of the car for short trips, or the seat or front end loader of the tractor, whenever we went over to the Big pasture to work potatoes....always had to be Involved.
Good memories...
Yes, lots of good memories are in the process of being made here...no doubt!! lol
Harley is the slightly brassier and more cheeky than Mau.
Harely will sit on my head, and lick my hair while Mau will just be like a normal cat and climb onto my lap hahaha.
Harley and Mau BOTH sit on the towels that i put on the loo when i have a bath. the both just sit there and watch me bathing it makes me laugh because they hate it when i have to shove them off so i can get a towel !
Mau is obsessed with playing with water, so i turn the taps on like tats ! mau also prefers being stroked with feet than hands.
Harley purrs so loud you can hear him through the whole house and sometimes we have to turn the TV up to drown out the noise. haha
Harley Burrows under my duvet and just pokes his head out as he lies on my belly purring like a bloody motorbike ! mau will sit on my pillow.
Both have an obsession with quavers crisps and both will lick the bowl after icecream.
both follow me from room to room, and sleep when i sleep, play when im awake and just never leave my side, they have been such a massssive source of comfort and humour.
I guess bp IS genetic b/c I apparently passed it on to my dog. Like mother like son....
i had a samoyed who would punish herself whenever she did something wrong. when little she would go behind the commode, as she grew she chose the basement, or the dog pen. she would also jump the 6' fence and run around the neighborhood until i came after her in the car, then she would jump in the backseat.
had another dog, a terrier mix...and the neighborhood kids would knock on the door and ask if she could come out to play. she would play chase and tag with them for hours.
out of my chihuahuas, bella is the great character. she loves to get dressed up and watch tv. she will race down the stairs when she hears the opening notes of a favorite commercial or show. Zeus is the nature lover, he had pet mice for a couple of years, loved watching them, turning their wheel. now he watches squirrels and birds. and sadie, well she just loves me, that's all.
My ratties are the best i let them out on the bed & they go wild running everywhere then they will just POP into the air, they love to burrow under anything popping there heads out then running to the end to pop there heads out again, then they will run over to me & climb on me like im a jungle gym, they love goin on my head, then on the way down they will give me kisses & off to chase each other rolling all around the bed.
Great post tats =o)
It's mid June and I'm still listening to, "Grandma got run over by a raindeer." Over and over and over and over and over.
Really enjoying everybody's cooky animal stories!! They really do help to keep us going don't ya think??
Gotta love them and their little co-dependent ways!! lol
casey (dog) whenever im down he comes up to me and licks the tears off my face. he follows me everywhere, and when i leave the house he pretty much yells at me for leaving lol. and then he waits by the door till i get home.
she has her mad half hours (manic)... she likes to be walked to the bed for her afternoon nap... is such a lap cat but hates being picked up.... she also rarely leaves my side when I am low... she is so intuitive and acts like a human rather than a cat sometimes!
am blessed to have her
I had a cat that would play fetch with these little rubber carrot toys.
The cat I have now does this bitchy thing where if she doesn't get her way, she'll puke. If she wants food and shes already been fed she'll puke. If she wants to go out and you don't want her to go out (because we have to go out and watch her), she'll puke. If she wants you to pet her and you're on the computer, she pukes. AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS CAT! She's not sick. She's just a bitch.
She also loves stuff animals and has a cow that is supposed to stay in her bed at all times. You take the cow out. She gets the cow and puts it back in. She has bonded with the cow.
Last but not least, Lulu loves sauerkraut. My mom gave her a taste thinking she would not like it, and Lulu loves it.
Go figure?
so we have adapted to reptiles. i got a bearded dragon when he was the size of my pinky finger now he is almost 2 feet long.he s not soft and furry but he really does respond to me and my dtr.he hates my husband and 14yo son bc they are mean to him, he even pooped in my husbands shoe one time and he put his foot right in it!! good work isaiah!!
i really have bonded w him.i let him roam free in my room bc he hates the tank. when he goes near the mirror he thinks it is another bearded dragon and tries to fight it his beard turns black and puffs up so funny!! also have 3 geckos one is like the geico commercial so cute!
