So I had left a letter for my fiance discussing how I felt taken advantage of b/c of all the money I've put out without any of his help.
He came back at me, pissed as hell, saying that since we're supposed to be married that our money should be in a joint account and whatever money is there should be at both our disposal. But I make much more money than him and he spends much more money than me.
He made me feel like a complete idiot. Like I don't know how finances in relationshits work. Like I'm a horrible person for accusing him of taking advantage.
I don't know. I'm still not comfortable about it, but I had to apologize to end the fight. I couldn't even use a threat technique b/c he beat me to the punch.
What am I supposed to do?

It's my own issues, but I guess I just find it hard to trust people with my own money.
lf you don't want one Hanna then don't, let him throw his dummy out the pram, if he wants more cash and if you agree have his account details and put money in when you can but he can't just expect unless he's paying for most of the bills
Sorry your letter idea did not work but do not be down on yourself, it is how you have to do it right now. Sit and talk to him about it and tell him you have a difficult time concentrating to talk about it without notes. Hugs
Sure I make more than he does, but I don't want it on my shoulders if I end up going on a shopping spree either.
From what I understand, most marriages end due to finances and I don't want that.
Decide on bills to be paid by whom.
Whom pays bills.
Eacj other person hangs onto their balance of moeny.
Any extras for vacations or luxurys can be discussed when planning.
Thats how I did it in relationshits.
Marriage, different altogether. Just keep enough aside for an emergency.
Never had kids tho.
