I used to live about a mile and a half back in the holler...only people who were Family, Neighbors or Lost could find us, lol...there was a spring a little less than a quarter mile from the main road, and old man Jesse had built a kind of concrete Fountain there, with water just pouring out all the time.

We finally put a sign up (!) telling lost people it was All Right to stop and Drink! Just pull over and Taste the wonderful Mountain drinking water. We even got a write-up in the local paper one time.

I remember the first time Grandma and Grandpa got running water to the house, too. It ran all the time - to the kitchen - but they no longer had to Walk to the spring to get any!

*sigh* The GOod old days.... :):)

OK Dan!! That song was really freaky to me. Wish I could be down with smoking some, but my OCD won't let me. It makes me manic as hell which makes my OCD horrible which makes the intrusive thoughts pour in by the bucket full. ;(

Just put our 4yr old to bed, daughter is watching The Biggest Loser (Australia) and will be in bed within the next half hour or so. Hubbie is on afternoon shift so he won't be home from work until midnight, so I'll be spending the night online trying to help people :)

going to the shop to get food to make dinner, then watching american idol later,:) its on at 8pm here.

it's morning now, so i'm drinking coffee and chain smoking and delving into DS. ooh spring water! my granny had the best spring water when i was a kid. hated the outhouse though. and yes i have peed in a mason jar in the middle of the night.
