Thanks Zany but it's already 9pm so not likely unfortunately. I have some painkillers and some diazepam and am hoping that, if I really take it easy, I'll be ok in a few days.

Sorry that you suffer every day with pain :(

Will just left for work.. then he has 2 days off. I told him about the poem that was dedicated to you yesterday. It gave me goosebumps. He's going to read it tomorrow when he's not so exhausted. I know it'll mean a lot to him too. God works in mysterious ways for us doesn't He.

About those bikes.. I am afraid of them. Saw an accident involving one. Please be careful.

My in-laws took my husband and I on a dinner cruise that included an audience participation mystery theatre type thing. It was a lot of fun. I laughed my ass off.

I laughed. So rare these days but surely the Parnate isn't working yet. Anyway, I love the water and we got to watch the sun set over the Gulf. It was gorgeous. Also, when they put out the desserts, there were three different kinds. I took two. Chocolate cake and Boston Cream Pie. I later found out it was one per person. Oh well.

I am exhausted and having instrusive throughts, along with the side effects of the gastrointestinal infection (Day 8).

Anyways, I said screw it!! I went for a 150 dollar dinner and I loved every bite of it, and will probably leave me at any moment, but I brought dessert home and hope to eat it tomorrow.

I just got home from work. Not a bad shift, but long enough. The thing about working is that it doesn't leave time for the things that I would rather do. Oh well, I guess that is the way it goes.

Comedy you are awsome for not drinking with everything you are going through...hats off to you...I'm glad you treated yourself to an expensive dinner you deserve ti and that's exactly what you have to do when replacing the drinking habit with something else you enjoy that isn't so damaging to your body.

I was still feeling under the weather today so I got up and read for a bit then went back to bed. All my cats snuggled right up with me for about an hour. Did laundry, dishes and started cooking some stuff for tomorrow. Did some more reading and visited witih my neighbor. Talked to a friend on the phone. Finished watching a movie that I started watching last night when I couldn't sleep. And I bought a couch on-line to go in my den so I can get the tv out of my living room and into the den where my treadmill is....Sears finally had a sale that I could live with (been watching for a couple of months what they had on sale).

It's a red couch, 3 seater, that folds down into recliner and bed positions with storage under the seats for $450. I put it on my Sears card which I hope has enough room for it.
