Some of you may not know this, but Robt. Downey Jr. is an excellent musician (piano) and vocalist. If you love him as an actor, you'll even love him more in his music. Listen to the album "The Futurist" on You Tube. You can also see him singing live with Sting (one of my favs) the song "Driven to Tears". He sings a great rendition of Joni Mitchell's "River", which is one of my fav songs! All this can be found on You Tube...sorry, don't know how to do the links to get you right there! Not very computer savvy.

Maybe we could start a list of fav movies...there's 4 I can name with RDJ (Robt. Downey Jr.) that I love: Wonder Boys (Michael Douglas is really the star of the magnificent ensemble which includes RDJ), Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, Less Than Zero, and Chaplin. Other movies I love are Magnolia (Not Steel Magnolias), The Deer Hunter, The Departed, and The Big Lebowski. Once again, like with my fav music artists, there are so many other movies that I adore! Maybe I should have started a new post?! Sorry.

I like 70's classic rock. I also listen to a lot of CCM (Christian Contemporay Music) for spiritual encouragement and peace.

I play flute, I practice a lot of classical, (especially baroque) and I have been working on jazz a lot lately, too!

On Sunday at church, the pastor was preaching from Rev. 12. Then this visitor got up at the end of the service, went to the piano, and started singing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. (The words are from Rev. 11)

She literally had the best verse I have ever heard in my life! She sang soprano, and a bunch of us filled in the other 3 parts. Well, we tried, since all of us musicians were put to shame by her.

Turns out she is an opera singer from Mexico City. So, I still have that ringing in my head. Just wonderful!

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
