I decade this song to everyone that has even up on hope or doesn't like themselves.

What is your Anthem? Do you have more them one?

I have a few but this song was shared with me by my twin sister- who gave me hell most my life- the whole sister thing- calling me fat, ugly, telling me I have no friends when we were kids. Her senting this song to me, was the most special thing she ever done for it. It makes me cry when I hear it, cause I know she loves me as much as I love her even though she cant say it.

I always loved the Doors, but the End, is a bit long and esoteric for me.

My anthem is Amazing Grace. I sang it in bars before I became a Christian and now it is my theme song. Here is my favorite version, besides me singing it. LOL

Perfect by Pink was very nice. I have never seen it before.
I can relate mostly to the visuals in the video. I used to be a cutter or rather battle with cutting but haven't in a while. I have buzzed my hair off to less than an inch many times. But most important my children are perfect to me and the love expressed is what I try to give my kids.

For 30 straight months I suffered chronic insomnia. I haven't had friends(real life) or family in a VERY long time so during those many months of insomnia I had the internet. I watched the first season of Roswell on Hulu and fell in love with this song by Dido. At first I just liked the sound and the beat and the connection with the great show Roswell. Soon, though, I found myself closely identifying with the words. " Oh I am what I am, I'll do what I want..." I had been isolated and rejected by the world, but I still loved myself and I had made dramatic changes in myself and my situation.

mine would be "Hope" by Bauhaus or "I'm not Down" by the Clash. Both aim for resilience, and make me feel better almost instantly.

so does "If it doesn't kill you" by Siouxsie. Very consoling song.
