I would say it would be xanax.

XANAX....but its a shorter too were klonpin is longer 1/2 life 36 -90 hrs..xanax 11.2 hrs 1/2 life..see the diffts

Yea I see the difference and why xanax is so addictive, well they all are really.. Someone was saying that Klonapin was 10 stronger than valium does that sound right?

I think Klonopin is worse than valium b/c I've heard that some pdocs will switch someone to valium while trying to break their Klonopin addiction.

Klonopin is longer lasting than Xanax.

But actually, the strongest benzo's are only given in hospitals.....like before/after surgery.

It think it's Valium etc that they use in hospitals too, but maybe at higher doses.

Nitrazepam is strong, is a benzodiazapine specifically used for sleeping trouble.

All I've heard is that xanax is the fastest-acting and, so, the easiest to become addicted to. Klonopin is second and valium third. When I became addicted to xanax pdoc switched me to klonopin. When I became addicted to klonopin pdoc switched me to valium. One day I just quit taking the valium - it didn't seem to be doing much good.

Yip, both Ativan and Ristoril are benzos, too. I'm not sure about the ristoril, but know that ativan is considered rather weak...great stuff if it helps you, not as addicting..!

I think it's a toss up between Xanax and Klonopin.

I tried the switch to ativan and since being on such high doses of Klonopin I figured that didn't work out at all..

The first benzo I took was Ativan but I started to abuse it. I was supposed to take ONE tab in the morning (I can't remember the mg, it was ages ago), anyway I found myself taking TWELVE tabs one morning I was so anxious, just kept popping them (I was about to re-meet an ex girlfriend :).

So I switched to Clonazepam and have since then always stuck to the correct dosage. Ativan is VERY addictive. I'm sure so is Clonazepam, but I don't abuse it like I did Ativan.

I would say it depends on the individual.

I take 2 mg of xanax a day 3x a day. Doesn't do a thing for me. I've been on Ativan and Klonopin and still need Ambiem to sleep.

Xanax is the strongest I believe.
