Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Silly that you have done, unusual or whatever to boost yourself to a better place mentally?
I went to the $1.00 store the other day..nothing costs more than $1.00 so I splurged! I bought mysellf some sparkling nail polish for the first time. When I was feeling better, on the first of the month I'd do several self-care things, one of them was painting my nails. And so I have :-) now sparkling fingers of glitter.
What have you watched that made you laugh hystarically?
Last weekend, when my son was home, I laughed hystarically watching "Are You Being Served" a British comedy show of many years ago on U-Tube. Britsh humor/shows just can't be matched in my book! Here's a link...hope you will have great belly laughs too!

It's been some time since my last post...sorry. I've been going through a challenging time with the sale of my home, purchase of a condo and my adult asperger son that lives with me. I've had days where I couldn't get out of bed, days where I stayed in my pj's and days where all I managed to do was eat, drink fluids and take care of my Sweet Mia kitty. Sweet Mia came to me from a shelter about...

If I come to DS and it won't do anything when I click "Login", I go to a post, click and then click "Leave a Reply". Then it will let me log in.Of course, sometimes DS just goes to "Error 504". Then I can't log in.

Hubby and I watched Blazing Saddles last night. It's SOOOO inappropriate so don't hate me.
I luv Mel Brook movies. I also find Monty Python hysterical. I think they're both irreverent ~ but they make fun of "everyone." It can also be argued that it is an art form.:) Fun post!
IWBD, I love that you treated yourself to new tops! It's coming into spring, a renewal of life. I recently watched a TED talk (my netflex) about The Minimalists...they have a web blog about how to remove 'everything' you don't use...Now That Is What I need To Do! Have a packing party until All The Stuff is packed, then over the next couple of weeks remove from named boxes only what I """Need""". Sure has given me some ideas, and a bit, still not moving, but a touch of motivation towards another change I can make by baby stepping. Monty Python, Nothing compares! My best to you both, take care, ml
He's recently sucked me back into watching his "garbage" TV with him every once in a while, mainly SouthPark. It reminds me of he and his dad watching it when he was a kid, and me protesting the whole time that he was too young. When we're both stressed we have video game wars on the Wii, as I don't' have to use my fingers so much, the RA makes it hard to use them at times. At times it gets loud and lots of jumping around and such. Feels good to just let go and let all the stress leave. And its fun to still have fun with my son even though we're "old" lol.
