what gets you up every morning?

When what we think and feel is so unpredictable, and we know one more day is just another day to deal with ups and downs that are so misunderstood, what exactly is the motivation for getting up in the morning? BP is the reason behind the things I've lost, the relationships that have been broken, the dreams that were never fulfilled, and all the security that has fled from my mind. Is there real reason to try anymore?

My immediate priority is my kids getting on the bus. When they are home it is curiosity. I always wonder what the day will bring. As long as I'm not depressed this can motivate me to get up. I challenge myself to get through another day and then rate it. I love adding up the good days and each time it is interrupted I look forward to starting the count again.

Why get up and try in the morning? I too have experienced the pain you describe. I have no clear answer to your question,it is different for all of us but the fact that we are all here for each other is testimony enough for me that maybe any one of us will be there when needed to save a life. That life might be a little boy or girls mommy or daddy. I find when I put my foot forward to help another it helps me even more.

well for a long time it was just that I have to cause I have 3 kids to take care of...it was a must do....now I see that I want to get out bed and spend time with my kids...its a great feeling knowing I am getting better. Realizing the difference between having to do something and wanting to do it is amazing.

I wake up at 5 everyday with hubby to make his lunch and spend some couch time toghether. We watch the news and talk. It's nice. But putting together 3 sanwiches and warming soup is a pain in my ass.

This too shall pass.

What gets me up is stomach cramps, almost every morning since I was 15. Have no choice. Then once I'm up, well I'm up so why go back to bed.

I say is so I can make an attempt at making normal people feel awkward based on my own radiating tension. LOL

For me I dp not allow my self to stay in bed. Staying there creates a continuing effects I do not want.
BP can either control you or you can control BP. I choose the latter.
It gives you freedom when you are incontrol.
My faith in God's Grace supplies me with stengh to endure.
