Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Sharing the same interests.
I have had the same group of friends for last 25 years...some new additions, but mainly the same ones. All have the above mentioned qualifications of what I consider a friend. I met most of the friends I have thought the punk scene in the early to mid 80's. We were all kids who did not quite fit in to society and questioned
any type of authority, made things happen for ourselves, and managed not to die (ok some did...but you saw it coming). We all hold the same values today as we did back then and that continues to bind us!
Someone to stand by when you feel ugly
Someone to tell you you are beautiful even when you don't feel it.
Someone who likes similar stuff IE Similar tastes in music....
for instance I like john mayer, TLC, Beyonce, Jason Mraz Lady GaGa, Alanis Morisette
but I also like Randy Travis, Reba McEntire,
and Rascal Flatts.
Even if they don't have similar tastes in music...someone I can just have a shoulder to cry on. Someone who will listen without judgement and give advice.
Someone honest and truthful and just fun to be around.
I think of her often. Her picture stays in my room where I sleep for comfort. I keep her grave up. I think the reason we bought this house back in April is because it is closer to her grave site.
