Do you know what BP feels like to me? It feels like i am overtaken by something or someone else and have no control over what i say or do. This scares me to death, because I might say or do something i would really regret. If something bad happens because of BP, am i responsible for what i did? I am taking my meds , as prescribed. But i still get angry and say things i do not mean. Sometimes, I feel fine, but other's I do not. It seems sometimes, like the days i do not feel fine, outweigh the times i do. That is SCARY.
That said, I'm really sorry that you all have to deal with this.
When I'm deep in depression I'm afraid of myself because I see that suicide is an excellent idea. (I've tried 4x). There is no one to stop me. Sometimes I think of the people on DS and how my suicide would affect them, so that will stop me at times. It's so hard to maintain self control while in the throes of a mood swing.
