My limitations have more to do with anxiety.

It is difficult for me to be in crowds
Driving is hard for me
Side effects of one of my meds is blurry vision, so driving is extra hard

I have become more socially introverted and do not like to spend more than a couple of hours in groups of people, sometimes even when my family gathers. On top of that I often feel like I am wearing a mask while in those situations and it is exhausting. My anxiety gets out of hand as well. I miss those days where waking up was wonderful and life was grand. Bipolar has definitely changed a lot about who I am.

It has changed my life ambitions... Earlier this year (when I was up of course) I was really inspired to get into law school and pursue a career in law. I ended up crashing, my grades slipped and I felt discouraged. It's hard to set a realistic goal. That's definitely the hardest part for me.

I can't work anymore which means having to depend on others which is something I don't really like. Avoiding stressful situations and that's not easy now-a-days. My meds make me tired, thirsty or gives me the shakes. I get depressed or nervous easily.

I dunno. As long as I'm not in a depression I don't feel that I have any limitations.

Driving on the interstate. I do it, but it really makes me anxious. I also avoid big social gatherings. I have social anxiety.

I get stressed out.....

I get bummed out....

And there are times when I just can't get relaxed no matter what....

I let my feelings get in the way of just doing things....or not doing things....

I feel like dobie -- I don't consider anything a true limitation. I'm not a rocket-scientist in the a.m. anymore thanks to sleep meds, but it burns off about the time the frost does. I just adjusted my schedule to do more mindless tasks first thing and save the heavy-hitting mental stuff till 1:00 p.m.

Yup, me too Babyshelby. Mornings for me are a No-Go. But they always have been. Evenings my brain is put-putting along!

Definitely the manic/hypomania tendencies... What normally happens to me when I get to that point is I am so energetic and bouncy (but also anxious inside at the same time) that I overdo it for like 3 days in a row. By the end of the 3 days, I have had so much anxiety and energy, that I get muscle spasms in my shoulders and neck which put me out of commission for up to a week, which then compounds on my depression. So managing my energy levels is the hardest. And trying not to do anything stupid during those times, particularly staying faithful in my marriage. :( This is my area of recovery (relationship addiction and attention seeking), so the two go hand in hand.

Side effect of BPD, for me they are short term memory loss. I put the wrong telephone number on several resumes I sent out. Jeez!
I don't try to make friends anymore either. Been hurt too many times.

I have major social anxiety so I don't go out much except to work and the grocery store, even the grocery store can cause me to have a panic attack.
Like bbipolar I deal with struggling with short term memory loss though I think the chemo didn't help when it comes to that. I also don't try to make friends in real life anymore after being used and screwed over by being to trusting. I have a bff of over 20 years and my sister and that's really all I need.

Omg I could relate to some of what you've shared. It it so hard for me to handle a stressful situations.i crack. I'm scared to drive,because I have anxiety as well. I dropped out of school 3 times and it was so depressing.

Anxiety, social phobias..social anxiety. Depression. Goofy thoughts. Someone mentioned driving, for some reason I am fine driving. Very comfortable and I enjoy it.

I feel my self image is not good, and I am not comfortable taking with "good looking" people LOL... Dunno.. I know strange...

I hate big stores..and get panicky in them.... I hate the feeling I am being watched...so add paranoia and being neurotic...and making mole hills into mountains...
