Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I went to a depression support group today. Well it was good and bad I guess. It was supposed to be for depression and anxiety and it turned out to be a group about 1 girls problems about abuse. It bought up some touchy subjects and I began to cry. The leader of the group asked me if I wanted to share I said no I am not ready yet,it was my first time there I didnt feel comfortable yet. The subject that we were talking about though hit home for alot of reasnons because I am going through some of those things myself. Maybe next time I will share alittle about it I will have to see how I am on that day.I just wanted to get support from others on how they cope and deal with depression and anxiety. I really did not get that today. Maybe next time I will. The group meets every wed from 4-5pm unless there is not enough people to have the group that week they will cancel. I have a $5.00 copay now that may sound like nothing but for me it is I am counting every penny I spend right now. So I may not be able to go every week. So I will see how next week goes. I just had a mini meltdown today though bringing up certain sensitive topics. I hope this group does give me some insight though so we shall see..

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
