Divorce is like a death. you grieve the same. Iv'e been there

worrying about this myself right now hubby says same thing about the ups and downs but we have been "trying" but how long it lasts I do not know. he told me hates me but I knew he meant this damn bp and what it has done to us

But try not to judge your future by your wife's reaction. That's a reflection of her feelings, not who you really are and what life may hold for you.

If you tried meds your mood should settle down. See if she will postpone the divorce if you'll give meds a shot.

i think that the emotional up and down has cost us all a great deal, so you have people that can empathize with you, though it is of little consolation right now.

while a terrible tragedy, this can be a motivational rallying point. get to the doctor, plan for hard times, take your meds, gather your support group.

I have been married 7 times and divorced seven. I was wanting a relationship with all my heart, I just wanted to be loved and trust me I have accepted that it ain't probably going to happen. I lost custody to my 3 boys due to my inability to cope well enough to provide well enough. As for the failure of my marriages I either was so hard to deal with that it became unbearable, I couldn't control my impulsive behavior which led to my having affairs, or I just picked the biggest loser who had more shit wrong than I did. At least I didn't feel so crazy if someone was a little crazier than I. I am so truly sorry that you have lost your family. It takes me back when it happened to me. I know that I love very deeply but I knew that I had to let everyone go. I didn't want to make hostages out of them for the rest of their lives. I wish there was some real help for this illness and not a bunch of drugs with shitty side effects that work for a while and then stop. We can solve almost anything in the US but the mental illness statics are ever increasing.
