After 10 years she has had enough.

She cant live with the up for a month, down for 2 thing anymore.

Our entire marriage has been going from my good times to struggling through my bad times.

Now I get to face life as a 50/50 dad and without my wife, AND BP.

I dont even know what to think anymore. I just dont believe I will ever be normal. I know she doesnt.

That sucks. As a 3-time divorcee, I will offer you some unsolicited advice...STAY IN TOUCH WITH US ON HERE...you will need the support.

I only see my kids two or three times a month. The first two years were HELL. The next year was a bit better.

I couldn't do it without the anti-depressants and a wonderful bf, though. It is too hard.

I am so sorry to hear this...make sure you don't stay alone too long thinking about all of this... That horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach will go away soon. You have friends here who understand.

Fortunetely she is agreeable to 50/50 custody. So until she changes her mind I get them as much as she does.

Honestly if I didnt have them, I wouldnt be hear anymore. I just wouldnt see the point.

What she says and what she does are two different things...get it in writing in your divorce decree. Your boys NEED you.

My ex made all sorts of promises before the divorce that he did NOT keep after the divorce.

GET IT IN WRITING for you and your boys' sake. They NEED their dad.

That is one of the main reasons my two boys and my daughter live with my ex. He wouldn't have made it without them either.

Stay safe. Don't isolate.

Good luck to you. i agree with the advice to not isolate. I can honestly say that my children became stronger after the divorce because all the fighting between my ex and I stopped. I could focus on my kids instead of my frustration with my ex and life eventually got better. good luck to you.

I am so sorry for your you and your family. As a child of divorce, it was a difficult time for me, but what made is easier was that my parents got along better apart, then together. I pray that you and your family will make it through this transition.

The thing is, you are normal....for you.

The thing is, you didn't cause your BP. YOu can treat it, but you can't cure it.

the thing is, you can't make your wife able to cope with your BP. It's her weakness. YOu stayed. If she couldn't that is no reflection on you. You are just you.
