Now that the holidays are over I'm trying to recover from all the stress. My house is trashed but I have no energy to clean it right now and my meds are messing me up a bit.
I had my kids home and it was an eye opening expirience. There is no way I can clean up after them they are just too darn messy. My son has no clue on how not to make a mess. And its almost not worth try to teach how to clean as you need to hold him by the hand and tell him step by step what to do. Which would be fine if you didn't have to do that every time you make him clean something and that he didn't make ten more messes in the process of cleaning one. This makes a 10 min clean up 30 mins instead. I realize he's only 9 and that's fine if it wasn't for the fact that he drags things out and never puts them away. He eats food and leaves a mess, slops it every where and uses his clothes as napkins no matter how much I nag him.
Even if I make rules I have a hard time enforcing them simply because I can't keep up with every thing that is going on. I spend so much time trying to just clean the kitchen and then cook again. and then clean the kitchen again. I tried getting my kids to help do dishes but they broke all but two plates instead of cleaning them.
My daughter at least keeps the bed room clean most of the time. But then I agreed for stupid reasons to also have a sleep over with another 10 year old. that was so stupid of me cause that girl was just as messy and useless as my son. Also normal psychological parenting tactics don't work on this girl. Making things more difficult.
Then her irresponsible father didn't pick her up when he said he would. Even though I told him I had an important appointment.
I was pissed. Then on top of that my car started breaking down.
You can see why I was pulling my hair out. There's more but that's for another thread that I'll be posting.
any how the car was fixed and luckily it only had minor problems not transmission like I thought.
oh for those who don't know I chose to put my children in a boarding school that is free to poor families like my self. They also offer a much better education than the really and super shitty city schools where I live.
But I still get them for holidays and they are still my children. I can take them out of the school at any time.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I don't recall how I did it. Well I had energy back then and I didn't feel tired most of the time. And I wasn't messed up from drug abuse. Street drugs really fry your brain.
