Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

1) The pain I was experiencing: A little less than a week before I was supposed to get my ultrasound, I had the most unimaginable pain on my lower left side of my pelvis. (The area that had been hurting). I had made supper, cleaned up, and when I sat down, there was this immediate stabbing pain shooting through my whole left side, into my back. I've never felt anything like it. I was panicked debating on whether to go to the ER or not. (Will they just think I want pain pills and turn me away? Will I just lay up there miserable and nothing would be done?)
I felt weak and all-around ill "don't fucking talk to me" kind of bad for a little more than a week. I had the ultrasound done and nothing came up abnormal. The first time around, I had a cyst. SO, the only logical conclusion was that I had a cyst that had ruptured. A couple of women in my DBT group described the same thing that happened to them. There was a cyst, incredible pain, a week of grossness, felt better.
TL;DR I feel better. Thank god. Or thank my body. Guess my body did it.
2)DBT is still great. BUT, I've expressed the concern about moving and having to leave (we still haven't found a place), but now...my therapist is leaving. AND my DBT instructor is as well. Last session is July 28th. If you remember, if you don't: here we go: It never fails. It NEVER fails. When I find someone or something great that works, starts to work, starts to help, they leave, I leave, insurance stuff so I can't go anymore...so here we go again. It's a trying time.
But here's the upside, the therapist that I'm seeing has a lot of knowledge with DBT and my therapist (who I trust, I got lucky with), says we'll get along great.
TL;DR I should be completely flipped out (or I WOULD be if I hadn't learned coping skills to deal with this sort of thing), but I'm not.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

...and another day closer to Fall! Tra la la la la...Next month there is a Sasquatch Festival in my city! We're excited to go and get our picture taken with Bigfoot. Really!Have a great day, everyone -

I'm trying.
At least my pain is gone. It was really shitty that it had to burst on it's own, and I've never had pain like that (well, I have, but not so sudden). And then be sick for a good week. I mean, it sucked, but the pain is gone.
And as far as DBT and my therapist...I would usually freak the fuck out. Or I would expect myself to. But I see these people KNOW and CARE, and they see that I take it very seriously and need to continue. And I will, with or without a group. Because I don't want to be a professional victim. Can't stand those people. I'd rather help myself.
:)
Take care,
