OMG! It is all over! I have custody! That is right ! I have custody.
Wow I had two very busy days. They were so stressful as I was rushing to get every thing done, all my welfare stuff had to be done by friday. on monday no one at milton hershey school were answering there phones. I had two conflicting appointments that were almost back to back and I couldn't get to both of them. Some how I made it to both it was INSANE
plus I was doing all this stuff with out any sleep. I was neurotic I was ready to go the ER at any moment. Then I had plans to get one of my papers filled that I needed for welfare but my doc didn't have the med voucher with her and I had to go all the way to the other side of town to get one on the same day. I had to take a bus I've never taken before blah blah blah. The list of insanity goes on and on. But at then end of the day it all happened so fast and I got a lot done. I didn't even know how it all happened. But I didn't care I had my meds and I made it to both welfare and my pdoc appointments even though I had no idea how I was gonna do it or how I even managed to do it and pull it off. I was so stressed out. And because I talked to dave and some idiot from the school called colleen (my uncles fiance) My uncle found out about me trying to find out who had custody. It was a stressful fiasco!
But I did talk to my aunt as I had already long thought about how something wasn't quite right and if they had really some how gotten custody just something wasn't adding up because if they did have it then my kids wouldn't be able to stay in the school, also I still had insurance on my kids through welfare. So it just wasn't quite meshing if they really had custody. I figured that I really did have custody and that my friend heard the word sponsor and some how in her mind that meant custody. I don't blame her I think she just some how misunderstood the situation. I know she wouldn't lie just to cause trouble she's not like that. So It was all a misunderstanding. But because the first guy I talked to from the school said I wasn't even in the system I had to make sure there wasn't a clerical error or something else also going on. But I did finally talk to the guy who actually knew the next day (he had off monday).
Ok now tuesday it was almost more of monday. I had taken my new med monday night and waking up tuesday I didn't feel any better I was still emotionally a wreck. But after crying for a minuet and smoking a cigarette I calmed down and said to my self I was just going to go to the welfare office and ask for an extension on the two papers I still had to get in by friday. Since I didn't know if counselor from milton hershey would be in until next week (because it's the easter holiday and the offices might be closed.) Well I needed a paper from him to be faxed to the welfare office by friday. So I was super stressed out. But I told myself that I would try first and if the welfare office told me no I would go to the ER right away and get admitted. So since I had a plan I calmed down. OMG! I am so happy I did that I talked to my case worker and I really grilled him about all my questions I had since I didn't get to ask a single thing monday because I was in too much of a hurry to see my pdoc. Yeah but finally I was talking to my case worker some one who really knows what they hell all was going on! He said that, they never said they needed to verify custody they needed to verify who the children reside with! So that was a huge relief! He did tell me he couldn't extend the due date but he said that it was ok the case would remain open and as long as I got those papers in before the end of the month I would be reinstated and I would not miss any payments. It was a huge relief!
Basically I got every thing done on tuesday plus some things I hadn't counted on. I also bought some more presents to give to my daughter and a little something for my son. I felt great! It started out rough but I felt 100% better at the end of the day. Also I got a call back from milton hershey from the person I actually needed to speak with and he told me I do have custody and he will fax that paper I needed. I had accomplished absolutely every thing I needed to get done! I could relax and breath a breath of fresh air!
I just felt so great because I hadn't given up and I made it! I landed on my feet some how! Now I am at my mom's house and I will be seeing my kids this week end plus celebrate my daughters birthday! I am so excited!
I can't wait to see my kids and I'm starting to feel like there mom again. I am just so happy about this all just being resolved.
