Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Things has been going well. I was studying full time and recently it changed to two days a week. After that I got a awesome part time job & work with amazing people. With end of year exams coming up, the new job etc. there has been some stress but not anything unbearable.
So of course I started getting really bad anxiety which resulted in some memorable rapid cycling episodes. I only take the Lamictal as it keeps me stable in general. I ony take the seraquel when it's really needed as I can't think or study with that in my head. As a result I've missed class and work the last two weeks which of course ended up with me explaining to my boss I have bipolar and currently not able to work. Thank god for the system here in Norway and I'm not losing any money from not working. Spring time is always a period that triggers me. Oh well rant over

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
to relax was temazepan which is a pure tranquilizer of the valium family. It always did the trick and was non-addictive for me and left me able to work though as I now remember I had most of my crises conveniently on the weekends. Many people I know have used xanax for anxiety but I don't have any experience with it and doubt it should be used long-term. As long as we keep learning and applying what we learn we'll come out better for it. I wish you strength.
And awareness and venting are our only defense. . . Well. . . Aside from the walk-in medicine closets. . .
Hope the venting helped, dst.
For most of us, stress, particularly sustained stress is a trigger.
I too have walked the tightrope between medication problems at work (especially with seroquel) and being mentally ok.
Hopefully things will sort out soon for you.
