Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

While the worst passed during my hospital stay, the last several days there I had no suicidal thoughts. They are back again. Not strong but they are here. I believe I don't have a life worth living. They almost didn't discharge me because while my depression scores were lower on the last day than the first, they were still pretty high. Unfortunately my therapist is on vacation this week coming so I won't see her. But I go back to IOP on Tuesday so I can talk there.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Kisses, I hope you feel better soon. I hope that the IOT works.
I've suffered from suicidal thoughts since second grade. The difference is now I know I don't have to act on them. Check on the feeling that my life isn't worth living...One of the times I acted on my feelings and almost didn't make it, I was moved by the people who came up to me for many months after in tears...and I think I mean nothing to no one. You job is not to listen .....
I'm not sure, this is something I thought about you last night....do you think you were a bit manic when going through all the training...using up too much energy and feeling overwhelmed? I'm just throwing this out there cause when I go full force for a period of time, I more often than not have a Huge Crash afterwards.
Also, possible? feeling like you've let yourself down because of not working? Kisses, Not You, it's the illness that makes life hard and stable in work situations. Be gentle with yourself, after being in hospital a period of recovery is needed from the change of returning home...especially since you wrote your family called only.
Best of luck moving forward...slowly...steady movement :)
