I've stopped taking my Ativan and that seems to be working okay. Just taking the antipsychotic now.
Lots to do but chipping away.
GT, congrats on breaking from the Ativan! I had the experience of having a few hard days but it balanced out soon enough alongside remaining meds.
I like that we have a “space” where we can connect on things that we can’t normally chat about in everyday life. It’s important!
I recently went through a big project where I was attuned to past manias playing a role. I did it! Without falling apart AND actually completing what I intended to achieve! I managed my sleep, my anxiety, and stayed focus on the work even with hundreds of external factors present all around. I had meaningful bonds closeby that I think really really helped.
Just bringing it up bc I think it’s important to know that there is growth in managing mental illness and a LOT is possible.
