Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I'm very upset about something. I was invited to my nephew's wedding which was on Fri. My son and I ran late but I was determined to get there. A few days before I misplaced the invitation so I contacted my sister-in-law for the info. She gave me the time, street and town it was being held. It was on the top of this hill where a bunch of wineries are. I didn't know the name of the place the wedding was at. My son got upset, started crying and wanted to go home. We fought almost the whole way home. Before that, I tried calling my dad but he didn't answer.
Now pictures of the wedding are being posted on facebook and it makes feel terrible. I blame myself for misplacing the invite but my evil sister-in-law should have told me the name of the venue when I explained the situtation.
I don't want to attend another family event, again. It's not worth it to me, anymore.
I'm not sure how to get over this.
Ps: I bought the couple a gift of their Amazon registery and it was shipped to them. I probaby won't even get a thank you note.

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Lets make ot a good beginning to the weekHow can we start the day off on a positive note!I have several chores planned that I have been putting off but I'm determined to accomplish todaySo I'm feel grateful for accomplishmentsI hope that you all have a fabulous week!!Sending hugs...xo

I'm sure your nephew would totally understand why you didn't quite make it there. Maybe a short note to explain and a "I hope you enjoy the ____ I sent!" and well wishes. And, screw the sister-in-law if that was intentional. I'd just treat her "decently" when having to be around each other, but would not make much effort to associate. No one needs knifed in the back like that.
I'd like to just take a second to acknowledge your heroic efforts. Yes, heroic. To have the struggles with family, the challenges and sacrifices in raising your son, and to still keep on and looking for ways to manage it all for the better is certainly a heroic quest. I don't actually know you, but I am still very, very proud of you.
Your sister in law seems like a b**** I am sorry you missed your nephews wedding. Who knows maybe you will get that thank you not :) Keep your head up, don't let this one event ruin all others
-Much love, Kayla
