Unfortunately not any better. Hence my continuation of the medication merry-go-round. I really hope it doesn't zombify me. I need to start moving around more. I'm just a bump on a log lately.

I think so. Unfortunately my memory isn't that great, so I don't remember exactly what the pdoc said.

2% of people taking Trileptal get a side effect of low blood sodium. It could be deadly if it gets too low and my pdoc knew nothing about it.
Thank god, my GP listened to me and had my sodium levels tested...they WERE seriously low, even though I had stopped the med several days earlier.
If you start vomiting and feeling so bad that you think you are dying, then you could be one of the 2%. Highly unlikely, but I have my doubts about that percentage rate too.

I take it twice a day, just lowered the dose due to depression, (tweeking meds). Have you ever tried lithium ? I took it for about 15 years without many side effects, finally I started having problems and just recently had to change. The new meds have to be tweeked more often.

I take it and it has a slight zombiefying efffect on me. Sometimes that's good.
Also, made me really sleepy.
