I just was watching CNN - and they previewed a show called "The Hunt" which is all about finding fugitives.
There is WAY too much violence on this show - with gruesome detail and so I turned it off.
I really don't believe in guns. I have enough trouble getting out the door as it is.
Shit I really don't want to live in the US. I want to go back to Canada. Sorry I cling to my memories from living there and it's peaceful living.
This show has really affected me. It's so graphic.
- I hope the US will grow to find a balance with it's gun culture and rationality.
They say guns guns don't kill people. It's so -effed up here sometimes!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Too much violence....too much , too much of everything !
...the world can be dark indeed, and you highlight a threatening thing in the use of weapons [I just put them all in one category], guns in particular and their portrayal as the great "equalizer" in an uneven fight.
Rightly though you have pointed out its just a thought that inhabits your mind and can be substituted for more pleasant things. It might sound stupid to some, but I think that is well done!

People Create guns as a response to unhealthy thoughts and emotions, in the same way we Cry when we're hurting; it's a human, outward response to what's going on Inside, and we All know how it turns out when we "act out what we're feeling inside" sometimes.
People created guns, guns became Reality, now, along with the Unheathy emotions we have (some of us), we're faced with the Added temptation to Own a Gun, to Have a gun, to learn to Use a gun, to be watchful for an Opportunity to Use the gun, and to see just how Much we can Do with the gun. *sigh*
To me, these kinds of things escalate in the same way people sneeze and wipe their hands on a doorknob and soon there's an Epidemic.

the thing w/ cnn is....it's not real. it's sanctioned and soften for mass consumption. i'm a news-junky and still follow all the stations i watched overseas. wanna' check out real news....watch SABC 2 in south africa.
