I was blessed with two mothers, my birth mom and my foster mom.
both are gone now, and I can't help but wonder was mothers day enough.
I loved both in different ways and showed it differently too. But this disease kept me from showing how much. Now that things are better I have not the chance to show them. Except one... my son.
He needs to be the one I love as my mothers loved me and let him know no matter what he does I will always know he loves me.
People say "honor thy father and thy mother" but do they really know what that means.
Never can I repay My mothers for the love they gave to me but by passing the gift and understanding of love to my child. To Honor my mothers I can only pay-it-forward as much and more.
So this mothers day is for my son. To take the chance to teach him love and see him grow in the knowledge he is loved.
My gift to you my mothers is my love to those hearts I touch.

"Honor thy Mother and thy Father" is a commandment in my faith and one we were taught well. I believe we have passed that on to our children for I always feel honored by them in the true sense of the word. Yesterday, Mothers Day, was proof of that for me.
You will never regret what you pass on to your son and he will cherish it and be nurtured by it. And, what an amazing gift for you Mothers that have passed. Blessings to you.
