Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I feel so neurotic because of how I'm so sensitive to my environment- wherever I might be. Lots of places are to noisy for me, especially BFs tv (another issue). Peoples voices - some are a very annoying pitch. The crazy weather coming.......
I just want to hear birds while I'm sitting under a tree with the blue sky and a gentle breeze- preferably in the mid to upper 70s with a fairly low humidity- not above 50%, and the barometer should be low.
I am just to much work to be involved with and it wears on BF. It wasn't good the past two days when I was at his place. I felt like I was dodging the tv either in the LR or BR (usually to loud unless it's turned down so low it may as well be off) and his voice which is very deep and he often raises it when he's on the phone or whenever.....It's like it smacks me and I get shaken up.
I flipped when after I'd gone to bed he got on the phone, after 11 last night. He's a people person and although I do love people I don't have the energy or interest is maintaining more than a few relationships. I isolate myself because I don't want to have to deal with inter-personal stuff like how to handle it when a friend is a real bore or not being able to count on someone following through with plans- time after time. Oh, I'm going on too much. I'd better think of something before I get cabin fever from a winter that hasn't even started yet.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

When I read your post I know I'm doing the right thing for me not seeking this type of relationship
Big hug for you.. I hope you have some peace and quiet today...x
everywhere! I stay at the library most of the day where
people are theoretically supposed to be quiet, so it helps.
But I am stuck in parking lots for a great deal of the time
and you wouldn't believe the stupid things people do there.
I wish so badly I could just be alone.
Another is I sometimes think ppl are staring at me and get either mad or paranoid.
I think my sensitivity to noise increases with depression or mania and is not so bad if I am stable.
Selfish? Yep probably but it's the nature of the beast inside my head.
Oh and I saw sirens mentioned. I cover my ears when they go by. Just drills straight into the brain... ugh
