my last increase was ... i don't know a couple weeks ago?
headaches are gone now.
And stop it! I'm not that inspirational!
I think that the 'healthy' people in my family (And, boy! Do I ever use the term 'healthy' loosely!)were told that I was BP and then watched as I was put on a bunch of meds. I think they thought that I would be cured by the meds. When that did'nt happen, to their satisfaction, they came to view my pill regimen as, at best, a waste of time and money and, at worst, either all or part of the problem.
When that sentiment is expressed, I tell them that I can see why it looks that way to them, but that as poorly as I do while on the medication, I do even less well without them and therefore, stopping my meds is not an option, at this point in time.
Most of the time it shuts them the fuck up. Doesn't change their opinion, mind, but they DO quit expressing it to me, which is enough for me.
You might stress to her that while some of the meds may very well cloud your thinking a bit, it is very much the lesser of two evils and that life would be much more problematic if you stopped taking the meds.
At least she's helping you out. If it's a loan, consider this bullshit to be the interest paid on it!!! LOL!!
If the help is a gift, well, then it's gift with strings attached. You get the money AND her opinion and even though she's wrong, she thinks she's right.
Is the financial help you seek directly tied to paying for your meds? If she thinks they're only making you worse, I can see why it would irk her to contribute to paying for them.
Good luck to you!!!! I hope things look up for you very soon!!
If you have no coverage for your meds, have you been to http://www.needymeds.com/?
You may qualify for free or reduced fee cost for your meds.
Take care!!!!
And Im with Pluck, people offer it trying to sound nice but at least half dont really mean it when it comes to thier money. My mom tells me to ask if I need help with my daughter. I rarely ask her to babysit. She takes her when she wants and thats fine. I needed some one to watch my daughter for a couple hours yesturday so I could start my new job and she him hawed about it and made it known in her voice that she would but it was not in HER plans... she just had to make that point.....
I wish people wouldnt offer something they arent prepared to give
Just becaue asners can't see that you're sick, doesn't mean that you don't feel it everyday. She is just naieve.
