Don't you love the hypomania. My wife gives me a quiet honey do list that I can work on in the middle of the night. She likes the hypomania.

I've learned over the years not to feed the mania, as it's like a big "eating machine" and it just consumes more and more and more...

So I try to ramp down during the hours of the night when I would normally be sleeping and do quieter things like brain games or reading or lay in bed and watch TV shows that keep me interested on a lower level but will allow me to still lie in bed...

I know sleep isn't going to happen, but I can still make my body rest...and that helps some.

Its not an easy situation to manage.

I'm glad your going to your Dr., they do need to know what's going on.

just back from doc cab took me all over the island
she did not do anything asked if i wanted to raise meds i am on max zyprexa anyway more does nothing lamictal makes me manic did not want to raise cannot add witnh my weird reactions haldol would bring me down but the 2 may cause my heart to stop so what did she think i wanted i am waiting for new mood stabilizer none available so that is that got out of house anyway made new mobile hearts done for 2 months

cannot find a new med to add mostly i need to try and control the drives to create spend money maybe eating but that is not bad zyprexa works a little but it does not work completely trying to lay down during the time i start doing crafts after i eat in the evening in the morning i lay there for a while but it keeps coming back trying benadryl and coloring

I want to live on an Island of Mountains with that climate and cool weather....no hot sun and sand...LOL

I once mentioned to a former sibling that I would love to live on the island that I could see from my kitchen window but that the kids would have had a fit. This was about 16yrs ago and he went back to my hometown and family of origin and told them how nuts I was and that I seriously needed a new pdoc! lol, lol. I told him I wouldn't live in his exorbitantly priced housing development if they gave me a house free and that 'It takes All sorts to make a licorice' (the licorice here is called 'licorice Allsorts' ha ha), He was not amused and still thinks I am nuts!
Oh well.
