It seems like december is the month of depressions. Not just in the bi polar world but in the rest of the world too.
And no it's not always because of the holidays. But I'm sure the holidays can contribute. For me I seem to suffer from depression every chrismas even though I really love chrismas and look forward to it every year.
I think it has something to do with the season, and also the fact that it gets dark so darn early. Less day light hours. Even though I'm a night person, if I wake up late I see virtually no daylight. So I think that has some effect on me.
But it's just one of many factors effecting me personally.
Every one is different but it seems like december for bi polar is like a full moon for wear wolves. It makes us go depressed.
So brace your selves every one.
But remember to love your self and it's ok to have a cry. Unless you don't stop crying for more than a day. Then it's time to go to every one's favorite vacation spot.....
the hospital! (that was sarcastic by the way. All though some times the hospital can be relaxing. It is a relief from the stress that life causes. And occasionally you get help.)

I want to come to alustralia! I really really want to go to australia!
I"m not sure how possible that is. But if things keep going the way they are going in this country I might try getting their the cuban way. (in a shitty raft).

I live in the southern hemisphere so have a lovely summery sunny Christmas.
I had one Northern Hemisphere Christmas once and it was so weird getting cold and dark. I am sure many of the Celebrations of Christmas with the lights and fun stuff is to distract from the days getting shorter and darker.
I really feel for everyone who is depressed at this time of year.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a home in the opposite hemisphere so life could be an eternal spring/summer! I hate winter with a passion, and the winters are quite mild where I live.
Yeah, get on a boat and claim asylum, people are flooding in here that way. Though apparently we have a lot of 'illegal immigrant' Americans here, people who have overstayed their visa.
As it happens, I keep my eyes in my head, so I won't argue the physical location of the problem. When I relax with it and treat it like a hibernation instinct, it is MUCH easier to cope with.
In longer truth, I miss living on the equator with its 12 hour days, 12 months a year. It is also nice they don't get lost in the commercial frenzy and religious competition we have here in the states...
