Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

My mind is all over the place today so please bare with me here. Does anyone else have this problem. People tend to look down on you because you dont have a job. They dont understand why you are not working. I hate to explain to them about being bi-polar. It sucks to me. I get it all the time.
Question for anyone. I have not been to church in awhile but I do read the bible ect everyday. Now I have been trying to get a hold of my pastor to talk to him about a few things. He is on facebook. I have messenged him maybe 5 times he has gotten back to me and said he would call me on the phone. Now I have heard this for like over a month now. Last week he said he would call me on wed well wed came and went. Then he said he would call me on Sunday afternoon well sunday came and went. I understand he is busy but I am not asking to talk to him for hours only 10 or 15 min. Now my qusetion is should I contact him again and see what happens or should I wait awhile to see if he contacts me. I dont want to be a pest but I need to talk to him about a few things, I told him I am going to start coming back to church soon but I am thinking not now.
I really need to get my thoughts together. In my mind I know what I want to say but when I write it it dont come out right. ok enough for now.

Who are all these people that are looking down at you for not having a job?
Does your church have a website? Check out the office hours and try to call your pastor during those times. Or why not drop by so you can chat face-to-face? Pastors are very busy but they want to make time for their parishioners. Good luck!
If you aren't successful, there are a bazillion other churches that will roll out the red carpet to welcome you to the family. :)
In this case, I would not give up on trying to reach him
Good luck
What do you have to lose in trying once more to contact your pastor? If no response then you can begin the search for your new church family. Good luck!
give him a call if it's his church you want to attend; if you want to attend another church, don't call him.
sometimes we're not at our best, so i think it's important to give other's the same benefit of the doubt.
You want a church where people are healthy and easy going but not too rule bound. At the same time, you want a church that has good ethics.
Stay away from churches that brow beat and make you feel bad for not following super strict rules. For example, you can go to a church where it is okay to have jeans on.. It's good to dress for God, dont' get me wrong-I'm just saying-You want a church that can understand that we all have bad days or some folks like to be causal, that is all that I mean. Sometimes, I dress well and other times, I wear business causal to church-just depends upon my feeling that day. Right?
If you are very liberal, sometimes Unitarians are good. It all depends upon what you believe and what you like.
Good luck to you.
Someone said something about organizing thoughts. I might do that myself today.
