I'm on Depakote 750mg and I've been on them since Dec 06. Works really well and never really had any side effects.
I've just washed my hair and was in the middle of drying it when I noticed (I don't normally dry my hair using a hair dryer so I didn't notice before) my hair seems to have suddenly got very thin very quickly and I have loads of hair that seems to just stop half way down my head :S I never had that before. I know this can be a side effect of Depakote but I've been on it for ages. Has anyone known Prozac to cause hair loss?
This is yet another stressor for me and I'm just feeling so low right now I just want to crawl into a cupboard and never come out. :(

I was on Prozac for a long time, and never lost hair from it.
It's stressful, but stability is more important...talk to you pdoc though.
AH yet another side effect we are supposed to live with...fat,non orgasmic and now BALD omg where does it end.
We are bipolar people not ,mindless eunichs who care nothing about how we look.
I noticed thinning hair ,about 2 mo into taking Gabbapentin....I'm hopeing...but it seems to have slowed down!
