Yesterday my son and I went to SSA to apply for benefits for him because he has Aspergers ADHD. While I was there I asked about my self getting a part-time job. It turns out it does require special permisson. All I would do is get a job and tell them, etc.
I hated not being able to work. It has been years since I worked last. It would be scary at first getting out there and working again. I will take baby steps into going back. Rushing into it could be a shock to the system.
I'm going to look up organizations that help people with disables get work.
