can't focus for long at all
distracted really easily

Sounds like what I'm going through right now, but my new pdoc said that all this (and a few other things) are actually part of a mixed-state. He had a list of symptoms, none of which I knew about. I always just thought a mixed-state was a mania and depression, little of column A and a little of column B. I'll get the definition and symptoms list from him next week when I see him again and post it. :)

Could be, could not be. I've experienced those symptom, caused by medication. Talking to your doc is a good idea.

You know....I've always wondered if you could take ADD meds (say Adderall) and BI Polar Meds (say Depakote) at the same time???

Well, not at the same time.

You could take take the Depakote at night and the adderall in the morning.

I'm like you guys, either I have both or it's mixed. I'm so new to BI Polar that I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel when it's mixed.

a lot of people here have meds for both

i feel quite good on this med im on but i was in a group therapy thingy and i was all over the place compared to the other people and i wasn't hyper at the time but still i felt different ?
