My son, Eric, says things like, "Stop cry" and quit being so gloomy.". He thinks Bipolar disorder is a choice. I wish it was so I could get rid of it.
I try to explain this to people but they just don't learn. I don't have breakdowns to upset people. It happens because I was m in pain..

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
It may have you son feeling helpless on how to help you so he feels frustrated perhaps?
