First the good news: I had an excellent visit with my pdoc today. She was impressed by the positive results of my recent hospitalization. I was feeling so good, I wrote a letter to the caregiver on duty basically saying I felt really good and didn't think I need therapy anymore (even though I'm doing well,Doc thinks I could still benefit from counseling). From time to time I write letters to staff, but this time I also talked with "Susie" about some problem I was having. The office door was open, and when I walked out I saw this woman, who I'll refer to as "M",sitting at a dining room table close to the office basically eavesdropping on me (and I'm not being paranoid this time). This woman is the only roommate I genuinely dislike and always have. I don't know what her deal is; I make it a point not to ask
This may sound dumb, but I admit I feel violated now. Maybe I should go back to therapy, despite my last two negative experiences, because if nothing else it's private. Susie thinks I'm "all over the place" when I'm not seeing a tdoc. I have someone in mind but I've called her and never followed through so many times, I'm afraid she'll be angry with me. Help!.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Im sorry you had bad experiences maybe try calling your insurance company and asking for a list of therapist around you and look up their ratings on google or ask your pdoc for a refeeral. Thats what ive done. Best wishes.
If your doctor thinks you would benefit from therapy, it bears some consideration. Like you said, at least it would be private.
Just speak with the woman you have in mind and explain to her you were not ready yet. I'm sure she will understand.
I'm wishing you the best, Loddy.
Of course we all go through periods of time when we feel like we don't need therapy anymore. That's a natural process of therapy. But I believe in the long run , a continued course of Talk Therapy and meds will keep you stable and well
I'm glad you are doing so much better! I think therapy is worth your consideration it helps....
If you are just coming out of the Hospital, and you were in a good place when you left, its very important that you take your meds and see a Therapist to stay in that good place.....reality is, if we could do it on our own, we would, but we can't.....
