I love making that sound on the guitar, tune the sucker down a whole step, and crank the distortion and bass. Killer... have to be a metalhead I guess.

Chugg, is that a Dean you have in your pics? I use a Strat. Les Pauls have a great sound for drop tuning, but I don't like their necks.

My husband has a '77 les paul special reissue, slim tapered, no fat neck. No top on that which is nice too...full, deep tone. Of course all I end up doing is drooling over it...wine red...so pretty and shiny.
