Does he drink?
Does he do drugs?
Does he have a bad temper?
How does he get along with his mom?
Does he have a job?
I also suggest pre-marital counseling. A lot of big issues get brought out into the open. Do either of you wish to have children together while the other doesn't? Whose houes do you live in? How will you handle finances, etc ...
You don't have to repeat your mother's failures. Just keep your eyes wide open.
he drinks socially
no drugs
he IS easily frustrated, but keeps his anger at bay.
He doesn't have much of anything to do with his Mom.
He's been working steadily for longer than I've known him.
He and I would have to get a new place all together since I'm currently living w/ my Mom and he has a 1 bedroom apt. I have 2 kids and am unable to have more...and he's known that since I've met him.
He has been with me from my most manic days ever through my complete crash and near death...and on my steady rise back up.
As far as I'm concerned, I think he's the one. Of course I'm just scared.
I've talked to him about it...marriage that is...my daughter (8) wanted to know when/if she'd get a new daddy since she "doesn't have one". My bf said he wouldn't ask me since I can't commit to whether or not I want to. I guess I'm confused.
