The Southern Farmer
One day a Southern farmer pulls up into the neighbors yard. He goes up to the door and knocks on the door and a little boy comes out. Little boy says kin an help ya ? The farmer says is your pa home? No replied the little boy he went to town to get viddles and grain for the stock. Well is your Ma home asked the farmer? No she went with pa to town. Well is your brother Joe here? No sir he went to town with ma n pa.
The farmer looked down shuffling his feet back and forth in the dirt mumbling to himself.
The little boy says well do yar need to borowee some tools ? I knowed where the tools are at I kin get ya a rake and shovel and pix ax out of the shed if yar need it.
The farmer looks up and says , well its about your brother Joe he got my daughter Pearly Mae pregnant.
Well replied the little boy , I knowed pa charges $600.00 fer the stud and he charges 500 fer the bore hog but I dont know how much he charges for Joe.
