I can feel it. The the antsy feeling, hard to control thoughts, angry, lashing out at strangers. I was dx BP1 a year ago, tried a few different meds, found ones that work about 5 months ago. I've been fairly stable but small things can really tilt my world. I am easily unsettled so I'm trying to live as stress-free and drama-free as possible. And am succeeding for the most part= hence I am fairly stable.
But there are times each day when I am so filled with anger, bitterness and despair. I try to fight off the feelings, control the thoughts that are making me feel like that - but it is so hard. The feelings just take me over and it's hell. I read a good book on thought control before and it helped. Maybe I need another one. Anybody know a good book to help me out? Thanks for reading my rambling btw, you guys rock.

For books Im not sure of specific titles. I know DBT skills have helped me with similar strong feelings. Compartmentalizing is a skill that comes to mind. Im not sure about what books are out there. I know of course theres the workbook but I had worked with a therapist using it.

i know what you're going thru i have the same problem, you can go to amazon.com or barnes and noble.com and check out self help books as far as i'm concerned i either bite my tongue or walk away from stressful situations,i even went so far as changing the shift i work in order to eliminate the problem ppl i had to put up with!!i'm also stressed out with some family members and avoid them as much as possible.kind of makes for a lonely life sometimes but it's better than the stress.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
