what dreams may come...........not a comedy but he had such reach as an actor.........isnt it funny he played a man who had to go through the many phases of hell to bring his wife who suicided out of her hell. I hope he is out of his hell now.

laughs omg every film he did with humor. and mork and Mindy and on and on

i even loved his creepy ones that my brain wont let me remember the titles one was the photo guy...creeeepy. oh what about the one where he put together the tapes of peoples lives from their implanted chip .......that was him right? entertainment is so under rated. for some of us the tv or movies or net flix is where our friends live.

Mrs.Doubtfire always comes to mind. When I am at my saddest I put that on and before it is half over I'm laughing.

One of his Homeless telethons - he said "keep your crazy" the difference people and governments can never take that away!!!! BE YOU!!!!!

Was there anything he did that wasn't funny?? Sure there were serious movies but he managed to instilll his comedic sense into those too.
For some reason (and I am a morbid person) my favorite line of his was in, I think, Patch Adams. When he holds up the skeleton and he yells: DONNER, PARTY OF FIFTY. Just cracks me up.

Awakenings. Grab a box of tissues.. It's heartbreaking and a true story. He was wonderful in that.

I just re-watched "The Birdcage"

Interestingly , I noticed 3 references to suicide , or words to the affect " Kill me now"

I know that almost all of Robin's dialog in movies was adlib and improv .....I wonder if all along we had been missing clues to his deep depression and thoughts of suicide.

We all know how well we hide this stuff from ourselves and our families

Sometimes I wonder if we notice the cues from each other. Do we as individuals know when one of our friends is in serious crisis or do we just post and move on? Do we stop to read what ppl are really saying? Just a thought.

I loved Mrs Doubtfire and of course Mork and Mindy was awesome... I think one of the times that I enjoyed seeing him the most though was on 'Inside the Actors Studio'

Precious I hear what you're saying... I try and pay attention to what people are saying... I think we develop some good friendships on here and we do rely on one another....Sometimes I'm up to really reaching out to a member and sometimes I can't do anything but offer a hug
