Don't forget to deduct the cloths you bought on Rodaeo Drive in Beverly Hills that you gave to Goodwill.

I think I gave Goodwill about $10,000 worth.

Did you know you can get a deduction for time traveled to and from medical appointments!!?

Pdoc visit 1x a month 50 miles one way,100 miles round trip....it really adds up!

Not again!!! We've been audited every year for the past five yrs and it sucks. Since I'm to lazy to make all of the required copies of all the required reciepts, they just keep our refund. So I guessing this could go on for the next 5 yrs till I get mad and go see a lawyer for auditing us for more than 5 yrs in a row.

We file jointly, luckily my taxes are easy to file. :) Homemakers don't tend to have big take home pays.

What do you have to have to claim a medical mileage deduction? Do you need proof, or just how much you go and how far? Mine is 40 miles one way and my son's is 25 miles one way.
