Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
So after years of trying to get it together (I'm sure many of you know what I mean) I'm still here. It's a little victory but I'm here standing breathing being present trying hard to go through things day by day. My therapist who I LOVE suggested I join a support group to share my story. Everyone has one and by no means is mine mind blowing but I like to think of myself as a work in progress and a survivor of my circumstance. No one really gets the triumph you feel when you come out of a mania or a depression. I guess I joined to feel a part of something that is just mine. I don't seek out bipolar friends and my boyfriend is the most calm collected man on the planet. I want to know what others experience and most of all I want to feel less alone less different less isolated. I'm often with those I love and feel so different so alone so weird? Any thoughts??

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Big squishy hug.....xo
It took me a while to learn the ins and outs of an electronic board here's what I've learned:
1) It helps to share things about yourself so we can get to know a few things about you...and visa versa
2) Skip doing something too heavy to start but inch your way in to matters that are of interest to you.
3) Make friends, give hugs, send messages and find kindred spirits they exist!
Welcome again and come often!
