This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

First of all I suffer from Bipolar. My 18yo daughter also suffered from Bipolar. So, I know how you feel.
My daughter, Kealy, was a bright and beautiful girl. She was getting ready to graduate high school. I guess I should start from the beginning.
In October a friend of hers committed suicide. The girl hung herself in her bedroom closet. I'm sorry for being graphic but it is important to my story. Kealy took it hard.
In November she turned 18. A week later she was expelled for possesion of marijuana and paraphanella. However, she was allowed to continue her schooling through the school's cyber program. She wasn't allowed to be on school property or at any school functions. Plus she was put on 6 months probation and had to and attend drug counseling. She was already in therapy for her bipolar and other things.
Through out the year she did her schooling without ay major problems. She did struggle with one class though. The classes she was given were equivalent to college courses.
In February, Kealy starts telling psych dr that her meds need changed, they're no longer working.
Now we speed up to May. Kealy was stressed out over her courses. She was failing one class. But, passing with honors otherwise. She graduated from Vo-Tech with advanced scores. She was going to go to WyoTech for custom automotive fabrication. Basically she wanted to design and build custom cars. Her and my husband were going to open a business together. They would spend hours together in our garage building a friend's car and other things. Anyway, Prom time came. She wasn't allowed to go. A friend of hers came to the house after getting ready for prom to visit and didn't mean to hurt her but it depressed Kealy even more. We didn't realize how much though. She didn't say anything to her therapist or psych dr. This was May 9th. We all celebrated my birthday and mother's day. Then on Monday the 12th, when my husband went to wake her, he found her hanging in her bedroom closet. She left no note.Later that day we went tour other childrens' school. We, with the school counselors, and principle told my other two daughters that their sister had died.
We found out later she was planning this for four days. She said she didn't want to say goodbye. we learned via the internet.
So, now we live in a fog, and I personally live with a broken heart. My daughters are angry. I'm depressed, and my husband now suffers from PTSD.
PLEASE I beg of you DO NOT DO THIS if you are thinking about it. You a thinking of a permanent end to a short term problem. Plus think of how the others would truely feel. think of my story. Call someone PLEASE!!!.
