Stupid Feaking Steroids

So I am on day 4 of this steroid dose pack-on the downhill slide and wham bawling. Never again! I thought this crap would make me manic but I read when coming down on them depression can become an issue. Lucky me. Sorry rant over. Just so not what I needed.

Sometimes the treatment is worse than the disease. I knew a woman who had lupus and had to use steroids. It wasn't pretty.

Oh man, that's awful. Last time I took steroids I ended up in the psych ward... It's on the "allergies" meds list now for me, I won't take them unless I'm absolutely dying. Feel better soon. :(

Just got off of a steroid pack myself and it cured the ear infections and helped the bronchitis but ran my sugar over the roof for a week, I even had to increase my insulin.. Steroids are evil!! I hope you feel better really soon and can be done with them.

I've not had to take steroids but my husband had to recently. It wasn't pretty to see where he was heading, he has put them on his do not take list too. He was manic as all get out and I was really worried there for a while, luckily he was able to hold on and ride it out.

Steriods made me feel so MAD. It was a bad combination with the irritability of my mixed state.

    When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now  almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...
