I think it is Great that you have that much control,not to listen to the voices in your head.I think you have a good handle and control of how you are doing. So hang in there.

You are controlling you. You have made the decision to stay alive. My father committed suicide when I was 14. I found him. I have also felt suicidal in the past and have even come close to that. But let me tell you about the pain of being the person that is left behind after someone commits suicide. The pain is forever. The questions of "what if" are always with you. The pain of not being good enough for the person to stay in this world is always there. In short, it sucks. I am thankful that you have something to stay alive for. You have reasons to live even though it may be painful at times. You are in love and that gives us hope. Hang on to it.

I know exactly what you are talking about but it's a good thing to have something to live for. Funny how we look at things isn't it,stuck alive,I just had to read it. Stuck in love and stuck in something worth living for "OUCH" that hurts,but in some sort of twisted way it does. I don't think I'll ever understand it myself completely but I will live the best I can with it. I wish you the best of luck,I ended up getting married and am very happily married now so go figure.

This is a feeling that I'm sure is safe to say that most people diagnosed with BP have faced. It is easy to say that if you have a support system that this feeling should go away and you should be happy to have that kind of support. While I'm grateful for the support that I have it doesn't change these feelings that lay just below the surface everyday. If only.... then I stop and think. I have friends and family that mean the world, most importantly I have a beautiful neice and sweet nephew with another due anytime and I think how would this leave them. When it becomes unbearable I think of them, everything they have become and everything that will be. For me this keeps me hanging on. Of course saying this while I'm not feeling that desperation seems so simple. Everyday is going to be a fight, a struggle to be won. Keep fighting! You're not alone.

I'm glad you're alive. Let's live, day by day, moment by moment.

Listen to the voice that tells you to live, if only for your boyfriend!!! Maybe get a med tweak for the times you feel worse!!!
