Stressed Out!

I've been doing a lot of work trying to find a home for my son and me.  It's been one thing after another.  They seem to forget that there are low income loans for people like me.  I just don't want us to be homeless!  Is that so wrong?



All the hoops you have to jump through has me super stress out.



Is there anyone in the group whose worked in realty to tell me some secrets of the business, who can help me understand why they do things to way they do?



I need a mental health day to relax and get my mind back together.

I haven't had to get a home this way however I worked for years in Community Health and it's bureaucracy...

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who would and do take advantage when they can so they look into things well and what people's specific needs are

Do you have a social worker that works in housing Jenn?... If you don't I would look up a number in your area or ask your family doctor to refer you to a social worker... xo

Sorry you’re going through such a rough time. I think a social worker is a good idea to help to navigate very complicated and complex systems. I know of programs and things in my city but it’s such a local process so you’ll need to connect to people local to you to know what kind of aid exists out there. Sending courage and strength your way.

I’m familiar with Section 8 housing I’ve helped a friend to start to understand.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
