I am today going to try and quit,I have joined stop smoking site,but there not the best supporting support group!No one answered lol,so every time I want a cig,I am going to allow myself 5mins on the bp board,so sorry if I answer all posts xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't know how but I use to smoke a pack a day then I went cold turkey. That was 20 years ago. Best of luck to you

I want to quit too but am finding it very difficult...I know it's just a mind/habit thing but I enjoy it soooo....but lately I've been smoking more- Thank god the doc put me on wellbutrin...LOL it doesn't help.

crzychic - the wellbutrin isn't helping? I keep putting off going on it. Maybe I can just skip it then? Don't really want to take it.

That's funny, I am Cuban and we do have some Cuban cigars in the house...

Misty , it's difficult if y've got pubs, offies and newsagents and everyone else is smoking.
So I support ya strongly.I've only been doing it a month with the no alcohol too.
