I'm stopping my deprakote for now. It's giving me double vision and I can't predict when it will do it. Today I was driving and all the sudden it started. I narrowly made it to my tdoc.
I see my pdoc Monday but I'm stopping it for now. Why can't he listen? I specifically said I don't want to play with my meds for now until I go to the gyno and maybe even the endocrinologist if I have to. I have a problem with hormones! I think that trumps the bi polar for now. I'd rather have my house clean for about 2 weeks out of the month than no weeks out of the month because meds have messed me up.
I want to function even if it's not 100%. He already knows I left my last pdoc for not listening too me, so why is he patronizing me like this!
Maybe I'll take more pictures with my camera again so he gets paranoid like last time I did that. You tend to get a more receptive responds I noticed.
And what is every one's opinion, tell him or just stop taking them?
I plan to tell him and twist his arm into working with me if I can. then it will be plan B.

Well he did raise it from 25 mil to something insane like 250 mil three times a day! He insisted that 25 was not enough to do anything.
Some times I even question if I need all these medications. The only thing my body hasn't rejected is lamictal. Every other bi polar med really messes me up to the point were it's making me worse then just not taking them.
I do fine until right before and during my period. The rest of the time I'm fine. I keep telling them this but they insist that that's the up and down of bi polar even though it's an energy problem that has nothing to do with mood.
no wonder I'm having double vision and ears ringing. I went from 25 mil to 500 ER 3x a day! Either the pharmacy screwed up or he did. He told me I was on slow release not extended release!
And is 1500 mil of deperakote normal? That sounds quite extreme.
Well I did cut back by one pill tonight. Hope I don't die.
